Excellent Results in Jackson's Arm Continue Including 64.7 Metres of 1.04 gpt gold

Kermode Resources is very pleased to report that drilling on the company's Jackson's Arm gold property continues to produce excellent results. The results include 64.7 metres of 1.04 gpt gold as well as a high grade intersection of 1.1 metres of 11.06 gpt gold.

Other results include 43.8 metres of 1.00 gpt gold, 25.5 metres of 1.21 gpt gold, 24.7 metres of 1.15 gpt gold and 10 metres of 1.28 gpt gold. These wide intersections of very good grades are in addition to intersections of higher grades such as 1.1 metres of 11.06 gpt gold, 3.0 metres of 3.68 gpt gold, 3 metres of 2.03 gpt gold and 1.4 metres of 4.43 gpt gold. These results were produced from the Road Zone of the property.

Neil Briggs, President of Kermode states, "We continue to obtain great results in Jackson's Arm. The property is generating wide intersections of very good grade in multiple zones. In addition to these wide intersections we are also getting some high grade intersections such as 11.06 grams per tonne gold over 1.1 metres. The important thing to understand is that it is multiple areas of the property that are generating these excellent numbers.

The results above detail Holes JA-07-78 through JA-07-81 from the Road Zone. JA-07-82, drilling for structure on the Incinerator Trail did not find the projected target. Further drilling in the Incinerator Trail Zone will focus on geophysical targets subsequently identified through Induced Polarization (IP). The drill is currently on the Beaver Dam Zone, approximately 500 metres south of the Incinerator Trail.

Consulting Geologist James Harris P.Geo, a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 guidelines, is supervising the Jackson's Arm drilling program and has reviewed the technical information contained in this News Release on behalf of the Company. Petro Drilling Company Limited of Springdale, Newfoundland is conducting the drilling. Core samples were taken from drillcore which was descriptively logged on site, aligned, marked for sampling and then split in half, longitudinally, using a diamond saw blade. One half the core has been preserved in core boxes for future reference. The samples, comprising the other half of the drillcore were bagged, sealed and delivered directly to the analytical laboratory under the supervision of Mr. Harris. Samples were processed and analyzed at Eastern Analytical Ltd., an assay laboratory based in Springdale, Newfoundland. Samples were crushed with a jaw crusher to 75% passing 10 mesh and split with a riffle splitter to approximately 250 grams. This sample was then pulverized to 95% passing 150 mesh and analyzed for gold utilizing a half assay ton, fire assay technique plus ICP-11. As part of the quality control program being implemented, Eastern Analytical is sending a pulp of 1 in 10 samples to Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. of Vancouver BC, an ISO 9001:2000 accredited laboratory for ICPMS check analyses. Analytical pulps and rejects will be retrieved by Kermode and retained.
